EarthLIGHT in Action Program
Our partners at Lighting Associates, Inc. (LAI) decided to put EarthLIGHT into Action by making a difference in their community. They held a bowling fundraiser with architects and designers to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). The BCRF is the largest private funder of breast cancer research and the highest rated research organization for breast cancer in the United States. LAI has been selected as the agency winner of the quarterly raffle for our EarthLIGHT in Action program. We are proud to support their efforts for all the good they are doing in their community. LAI has decided to give the $10,000 Acuity EarthLIGHT in Action donation to the North Gwinnett Co-Op, a “ministry that provides food, clothing, financial assistance and spiritual support to those in need in the Buford, Suwanee, and Sugar Hill communities.”
In addition, for their own EarthLIGHT efforts, CED Houston hosted a blood drive by partnering with Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center’s mission is to “partner with the community to help save and sustain lives by providing a safe supply of blood, biotherapies, and related services.” CED Houston has been selected as the customer winner of the quarterly raffle for our EarthLIGHT in Action program and has decided to give the $10,000 Acuity EarthLIGHT in Action donation to Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Family Alliance. Candlelighters provides support to families of children with cancer including emotional, educational and practical support.
