EarthLIGHT in Action Program
Our partners at Eclairage Dimension Plus (EDP) put EarthLIGHT into action by collaborating on the lighting scope of the new hospital Enfant-Soleil Pavilion at CHUS Fleurimont in Sherbrooke, QC. This new building includes many Acuity LED lighting solutions that can have a positive impact on the lives of patients, families and healthcare teams. By bringing together maternity, neonatology, pediatrics, child psychiatry, and emergency services, the pavilion creates a more connected healthcare environment and underscores the important role that thoughtful lighting design plays in supporting patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
EDP has decided to give the $10,000 Acuity EarthLIGHT in Action donation to Fondation de La Fontaine, an organization that provides financial and material assistance to children from underprivileged families, helping them access specialized educational services as well as school and extracurricular programs that support their development.
In addition, Viking Electric made a difference through focusing on their environmental impact and sustainability. In 2025, Viking Electric recycled 20 tons more than in 2024. This committment to environmental protection and green practices from Viking associates has shown incredible results towards sustainability.
Viking Electric has chosen to give the $10,000 Acuity EarthLIGHT in Action donation to Habitat for Humanity, an organization that helps families and individuals achieve the security and stability of safe, affordable housing through helping build, repair and finincing homes.
