EarthLIGHT in Action Charity Winners
Every child deserves to have quality shoes. Lighting and Electrical Sales Co, Acuity's Houston, TX based agent, decided to put EarthLIGHT into Action by hosting a shoe drive to collect new and gently used shoes for families in underserved communities. Through their efforts, 44 pairs of new shoes were donated to Sole Loved, an organization that distributes shoes to children in need.
Lighting and Electrical Sales Co has been selected as the agency winner of the quarterly raffle for our EarthLIGHT in Action program. We are proud to support their efforts for all the good they are doing in their community. Lighting and Electrical Sales Co has decided to give the $10,000 Acuity EarthLIGHT in Action donation to Sole Loved, so that they can provide many more shoes for children in need.
In addition, for their own EarthLIGHT efforts, Electrozad has won the quarterly customer raffle for EarthLIGHT in Action. They funded over $1,000 worth of backpacks and school supplies to give to children in need in the Chatham-Kent community. Because of their efforts, Acuity is honored to donate $10,000 on behalf of Electrozad to their chosen charity, the Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides care and support to families of children who require extensive medical care while they undergo treatment.
