Unwrap and Store Your Poles the Right Way.

Increased fixture lead times and labor shortages have caused pole installation delays. Instead of getting the poles up immediately, they are often sitting on jobs sites in their wrapping and in improper storage conditions, heightening the risk of finish damage.

Reduce this risk by:

  • Ordering the IC option (interior coating) if the poles are going to sit
  • Unwrapping the poles immediately upon delivery
  • Inspecting the poles before they go into storage
  • Storing in a semi covered – fully covered area
  • Spacing out the poles such that air can flow around all sides

Review the “Why Unwrap a Pole?” white paper and the Metal Pole Installation and Maintenance Guide found on all steel and aluminum pole product pages under Marketing Material and Technical Documents for more details.
