Horton Plaza is San Diego’s innovation hub for science, technology, arts, entertainment, and education. Encompassing 7 City blocks, 10 acres, and 1 million square feet of the Technology and Biotech Campus.
Climatec was awarded the Horton Plaza Campus Redevelopment project. This will be a full BACnet IP campus leveraging the Distech Eclypse product line, UNITOUCH thermostats, Optigo network switches, Visual BACnet, Acuity lighting integration, Envysion graphics, cloud-based commissioning, and Fault Detection & Diagnostics. The current phase is only core and shell upgrades with tenant Improvements to come. They are expecting an abundance of high-tech and biotech leases in the near future.
