This four-star property combines contemporary design with smart functionality, creating an inviting space for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in the heart of the city.
Why Distech Controls Technology?
The primary goal of this project was to implement a fully integrated Building Management System capable of monitoring, controlling, and optimizing essential building services. The scope included seamless integration of HVAC systems, pumping and drainage systems, and electrical infrastructure to ensure centralized visibility, improved operational efficiency, and enhanced reliability.
Distech Controls was chosen for its open, scalable, and integration-friendly platform. The system integrator, REC Green Technologies, leveraged the Niagara Framework along with EC-BOS-8 and SQL drivers to develop and deploy AI-driven HVAC optimization, achieving approximately 30 percent energy savings and enabling repeatable deployment across other commercial buildings.
Additionally, the EC-NET MQTT driver was implemented to securely transmit equipment data to Microsoft Azure, supporting advanced analytics, remote monitoring, and future IoT expansion. This approach addressed critical challenges related to interoperability, energy efficiency, and the need for a cloud-ready, future-proof system architecture.
