The 8-storey Grand Angle building is used as offices by the Lyon Metropolitan Authority, with a total floor area of around 4,000 m².

Why Distech Controls technology?

In 2024, our partner Ekium completed a turnkey project to install a new Distech Controls building management system (BMS), replacing the obsolete Trend BMS in the Grand Angle building on rue Garibaldi in Lyon.

The solution implemented is a latest-generation BACnet/IP Eclypse system, level B-BC, distributed over the building's eight floors. This equipment ensures greater comfort for occupants while allowing the site to be upgraded without any constraints linked to the BMS architecture. Optimising the class of the BMS and monitoring energy consumption are also two essential elements of this retrofit.
