The Olympic Aquatic Centre is located in Seine-Saint-Denis, just opposite the Stade de France. It has been specially built for the sporting events of summer 2024, and will host the artistic swimming, diving and water polo events. Two Olympic-size pools will host the events, and the centre will be able to seat 5,000 spectators. After the summer of 2024, this aquatic centre will have a clear legacy in an area lacking in sports facilities: its modular structure will be able to change size and configuration to accommodate the regular practice of local residents. Eco-design is also on the agenda, with a 5,000 m² roof covered in photovoltaic panels, ensuring the centre is self-sufficient in energy.
