Built in 2022 for a total surface of more than 3.000 sqm, BOOM is the CRIF's* new knowledge and innovation hub that promotes initiatives and training courses dedicated to students of all levels of education, professionals, entrepreneurs, startuppers, executives and corporates. BOOM includes several training rooms, an auditorium, spaces for co-working stations and classrooms dedicated to activities.
Why Distech Controls technology?
The main requirement for this project was to satisfy the environmental comfort of the occupants, optimizing consumption and the efficiency of the systems by seeking a simple network architecture structure.
The total room control solution by Distech Controls was chosen because it allowed us to satisfy all the design requirements. Together with the use of pressure independent control valves installed on each hydronic terminal, the customer was able to avoid energy waste by optimizing the performance of the terminals.
The complete management of the room allowed us to control the climate, lighting and blinds from a single room panel, as well as managing them in synergy to reduce energy consumption.
The BACnet/IP daisy-chain connection between the controllers made it possible to minimize the data wiring relating to the BMS systems and compartmentalize the control intelligence within the single environment.
