Vocational Hotel School, Vichy, France

Opened in 1999, the vocational hotel school Valéry Larbaud in Cusset-Vichy needed a renovation of all its equipment rooms to improve control of consumption.

Why Distech Controls technology?

The specifications for this renovation project included implementation of an open and adaptable solution for the high school to offer more efficient management of power consumption, from the boiler room to the 20 air handling units. This made the ECLYPSE full BACnet/IP B-BC solution from Distech Controls an appealing option for the site and school operator.

The combination of wireless room and temperature sensors with Distech Controls solutions produced a streamlined installation as part of this renovation in an occupied site. Thanks to these sensors, it is possible to regulate the ambient comfort more precisely and therefore better manage the school's consumption.

All the controllers communicate with a Panorama-type on-site supervision system.

Solutions fitted in the building:

  • 20 connected modular ECY-S1000 ECLYPSE controllers
  • 26 MBUS Wireless room sensors

Stakeholders:

  • Installer: META 2e
  • Fitter: Engie Solutions
