Le Corner is an 18,500 m² office building housing Allianz's regional headquarters. The building is the result of the extension and renovation of an existing office building in Lyon's Part-Dieu business district. The project was delivered in 2022.
Why Distech Controls?
The specifications for this renovation project were based on the principle of low-carbon design, aiming to reduce the building's energy consumption by 60%. In addition, the owner wanted to make the building a benchmark for connected solutions.
As a result, Distech Controls was chosen to refurbish the entire BMS system with our DC Space solution. The openness of this solution, enabling easy communication with digital services and IoT devices, made it the n°1 choice.
Allianz also wanted a solution to manage people counting, and this has now been achieved thanks to a sensor solution from our partner Eurecam.
Finally, we provided a solution for measuring air quality in the workplace, in line with current public health concerns.
This low-carbon renovation has earned the building several certifications, including R2S 3 stars and BREEAM Very Good.
