The West Block is the most complex rehabilitation project ever on Parliament Hill. Once the West Block is rehabilitated, it will welcome the House of Commons Chamber for approximately 10 years. The Chamber will be covered by a glass roof. The roof is designed to filter sunlight and external sound. The bright and airy Chamber will have a number of environmentally and people-friendly design features.
Why Distech Controls technology?
The project required a system that could control the mechanical operations for all tenant spaces as well as a platform for mechanical systems control (cooling plant, heating plant, airflow, and thermal comfort. The Distech Controls products were the best fit for this project.
