Acuity Brands Recognized for the Second Consecutive Year in the 2020 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Indoor Location Services, Global

ATLANTA -- May 12, 2020  -- Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI) today was named for the second consecutive year in the Gartner Magic Quadrant* for Indoor Location Services, Global.

Acuity Brands offers a suite of products and solutions that can be configured based on customers’ unique requirements to provide location aware services for their buildings and businesses in the retail, healthcare, commercial office, airport, industrial and other markets.

A key feature of the platform’s capabilities is a suite of mobile apps such as myPERSONIFY that allow users to more easily control their indoor environment.
  • The LocusMaps connected mapping platform for indoor and built spaces from LocusLabs, helps venue operators improve user experiences and administer their facilities. The platform enables map publishing for virtually all mobile devices to make navigating complex spaces such as airports and large corporate campuses easier for customers and employees.
  • The BuildingOS energy management information solution provides data centralization and streamlined reporting to improve building performance across commercial portfolios. The platform is commonly used to identify energy savings and to provide information to optimize resource consumption.
