New configurable LED drivers, combined with Near Field Communication (NFC) and eldoLED studio cloud-based software, help lighting manufacturers:
- Accelerate luminaire design and configuration
- Simplify production processes
- Streamline portfolio management
Atlanta, August 26, 2026 — eldoLED, a leader in the design and manufacture of intelligent driver solutions for LED based lighting systems, launches the Accela™ next-generation platform of configurable LED drivers designed to provide advanced flexibility, deliver superior luminaire performance, connectivity and quality, and help lighting manufacturers simplify product design, reduce operational complexity, and enable scalable customization across their portfolios.
Unified platform approach. Accela series LED drivers move beyond incremental driver variation with a unified platform approach. By bringing consistency to form factors and core functionality across power levels, the platform helps reduce design rework, supports more consistent performance, and simplifies inventory management, supporting more efficient design and production processes while maintaining flexibility.
"Lighting manufacturers are being asked to deliver more variation, integrate controls, and respond more quickly to changing requirements," said Tom Hinds, Senior Director, Product Management, eldoLED. " Accela series LED drivers shift from a product-by-product approach to a unified platform that enables customization at scale without adding operational complexity. By establishing a common platform across form factors, features, and configuration, manufacturers can achieve greater speed, consistency, and control as they develop and deploy luminaires."
Software-defined customization. Accela LED drivers include more than 20 configurable parameters, enabling performance to be tailored in software while maintaining a consistent hardware footprint.
NFC configuration and cloud-based deployment. NFC-based wireless configuration, combined with eldoLED studio cloud-based software, supports profile customization and provides the ability to build, test, and seamlessly deploy driver configuration profiles to production, helping accelerate production, improve reliability, and support scalable operations.
Performance. The first Accela products enable architectural and commercial linear applications and include smooth, flicker-safe dimming to 1% and configurable output range to support consistent light performance across applications.
Controls Connectivity. The first Accela products support 0–10V control and an optional programmable AUX power output, enabling embedded controls and additional devices to be powered directly from the driver while helping reduce system complexity.
