Atlanta, GA, November 12, 2022 – MARK Architectural Lighting (www.marklighting.com), an established leader in architectural lighting solutions, announces today that two of its products have received a 2022 Product Innovation Award (PIA) from Architectural SSL Magazine.

The Product Innovation Awards (PIA) recognizes innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market, while also spotlighting the players behind the components that make up these light sources. With judging and evaluation of products and systems from a distinguished panel of 16 designers and lighting specialists skilled in product evaluation, the PIA program awards manufacturers based on attributes, qualities, functionality and/or performance beyond industry standards.

Markline 101 and Markcove 102 feature a small eldoLED® driver specifically designed for the luminaires’ 1.5-inch aperture. Available with multiple mounting options including cable-suspended, adjustable center axis, adjustable side hinge, and fixed, Markline 101 and Markcove 102 are suitable for illuminating from small spaces, along with curved vertical surfaces and circular coves.  In addition to a robust construction, Markline 101 and Markcove 102 contain a multi-diode chip that enhances the blending of light and eliminates color separation, resulting in better near-field blending compared to other linear accent and cove lighting solutions. The products also offer seven precise distribution options ranging from 9°x9° to asymmetric wall wash. More information about Markline 101 and Markcove 102 is available here: Markline 101 and Markcove 102 Family Page

Simple design, sophisticated solution: Whisper with Care222® technology provides continual reduction of active pathogens* in spaces where people congregate – even with people in the space. Care222® technology uses filtered 222 nanometer UV-C light to inactivate a variety of bacteria and viruses in spaces like conference rooms, break rooms and rest rooms. A patented short pass filter ensures only a narrow band of 222nm UV-C light is emitted, which does not penetrate living tissue in the skin or past tear layers in the eye, allowing for use in occupied spaces when following safety guidelines.

Whisper Care222 solutions offer a variety of options including CRI, color temperature, and lumen packages.  Delivering up to 8500 lumens, Whisper Care222 supports common control strategies including 0-10v, nLight, and nLight Air.

UV light disinfection** technology inactivates viruses and bacteria by disrupting their RNA/DNA which prevents reproduction. To create the ideal pathogen control layer for your space, Whisper Care222 is available as 2’ X 2’ and 2’ X 4’ troffers, offering either one or two Care222® modules.
