Tour Hekla, La Défense, France

The Hekla tower is a 220-metre tall, 48-storey skyscraper under construction in the La Défense (92) business district and scheduled for delivery in 2022.

Why Distech Controls technology?

Since this is a high-rise office building in La Défense, the specifications include extensive requirements and there is a substantial investment involved. Our client felt they could safely opt for our tried and tested ECLYPSE solution – now in use for over 6 years – in full BACnet/IP BBC. This is a modular solution accessible to services at no extra cost, ensuring that the building will remain flexible and future-proof for the long term. As a result, our client has control over the tower’s technical management and will be free to install any type of connected service at a later time. What’s more, our solution delivers a robust cybersecurity protocol, a guarantee that further reassured our client. Last, but not least, we offer regular technical monitoring and continual local sales support.

Solutions fitted in the building:

  • 2954 connected ECLYPSE controllers for ECY-PTU-208 terminal units
  • 190 connected ECLYPSE controllers for ECY-PTU-107 terminal units
  • 1731 ECx-Light-4DALI-WD lighting expansion modules
