This project is to install a new building management system for the new building to control the HVAC and chillers plant with a total of 42,000 points to lower energy consumption and increase building comfort for employees, and visitors which may total more than 3500 persons/day.
Why Distech Controls Technology?
The Distech Controls solution was chosen for its open protocols (BACnet and LONWORKS). ECB-PTU BACnet controllers manage the ventilators as well as the management of air treatment plants (operating auditoriums, offices, meeting rooms, etc.). This open-building solution guarantees compatibility with many protocols and standards, which makes this building future-ready and scalable. The Distech Controls solution was also selected because of its flexibility, reliable products, and user-friendly programs along with the excellent support provided by management as well as the technical team.

Distech Controls Solutions Installed:
2414 ECB controllers along with 14 EC-BOS7 to control and monitor the complete HVAC system, lighting, power, and water systems with approximately 42000 control points and over 1500 integration points through BACnet/IP, and Modbus (backup generators, UPS, metering, reverse osmosis system, pumping sets, fire systems, alarms, chillers, boilers and more).
