Domaine de la Klauss is a 5-star spa hotel, also listed in Relais & Châteaux. The estate is located in Moselle and first opened its doors in January 2016.
Why Distech Controls technology?
The connected ECLYPSE system was chosen when renovating this hotel to ensure that the technology can be updated over time to meet the requirements of current and future guests.
There are so many advantages to this system and it works really well in a 5-star hotel setting.
Each room has an Allure UNITOUCH touchscreen interface, which can be used by the hotel guests to adjust their comfort settings. These commands are routed via IP to the ECLYPSE controller that is connected to that particular room.
The client was particularly attracted to the fact that each room can be assigned its own control equipment, whilst the architecture is still centralized to ensure that system interventions can be performed quickly and discreetly if needed. In addition, the Allure UNITOUCH interface is elegant and easy for the guests to use, which worked in favor of our solution, with an upscale clientele who prize their hotel stay experience very highly.
Another significant advantage was the ease of use provided by the ENVYSION interface, which means the whole of the installation can be monitored. Additionally, there are no operating licenses for maintenance, which offers a good level of flexibility.
A final advantage that convinced the client was the fact that the ECLYPSE solution is open and scalable. This guarantees scalability of the solution, which can then be adapted to potential future changes: expansions, additions of services for guests, etc.
