Did you know the IOTA DLS 12-volt models can be used to charge 6-volt batteries when they are configured in a 12-volt “series” arrangement? As long as the 6-volt batteries are being used in multiples of two, then the DLS can provide the necessary charging voltage.
If you combine several “series” groups to create larger capacity setups, the IOTA DLS ensures balanced charging by delivering the same voltage to all batteries.
Refer to the illustration to see how two 6-volt batteries can be connected in series to increase the combined output voltage to a 12-volt DLS charger.
