MARK Architectural Lighting Adds Integral Driver Option to the SLOT 1 Luminaire Family

Atlanta, GA, March 18, 2024 - MARK Architectural Lighting, an established leader in architectural lighting solutions, announced today the addition of an integral driver to the SLOT 1 luminaire family, allowing users more flexibility and control over their lighting projects.

The integration of an integral driver enables users to tailor the power and control systems according to the unique requirements of their projects. The simplicity of an on-board driver supports a traditional control strategy, while the centralized network control of the Modulus™ system offers unmatched tailored choices. Modulus is a low voltage distributed power and control system that provides digital control and networked technology for LED luminaires from a centralized location.

The SLOT 1 family stands out for its fine line design, boasting a narrow aperture, industry-leading optics, and a wide variety of aesthetic options. From pre-configured patterns to drop lenses in 0.5-inch, 1-inch, and 1.5-inch sizes, along with edge-view and top glow options, SLOT 1 luminaires offer an extensive suite of features to illuminate spaces with delicate details and precision.

Additionally, SLOT 1 delivers commanding quality of light, with cutting-edge, high-efficiency 90 CRI LEDs offering illumination ranging from 200 to 1200 lumens per foot, delivering superior color rendering without sacrificing efficiency. Direct or indirect batwing, wall wash, direct or indirect asymmetric or wall graze distributions deliver the right amount of light where the user commands. Whether powered by an integral driver or Modulus system, users can count on smooth, flicker-free dimming performance, ensuring optimal visual comfort and lighting distribution.

The thoughtfully crafted linear lighting of SLOT 1 luminaires extends to its illuminated intersections, which enable bespoke designs with a wide assortment of configurations. Illuminated “L” connectors are available from 40° to 160°, while “X” and “T” connectors are available at 90°. SLOT 1 with an integral driver provides traditional 0-10v control functionality out of the box.

In addition to its innovative features, SLOT 1 embodies a commitment to sustainability, with aluminum extrusions manufactured from 100% recycled content and are optimized to produce the least amount of scrap in the manufacturing process. Also, 90% of the materials for SLOT 1 are sourced within 30 miles of MARK Architectural Lighting’s factory, further limiting carbon impact.
