ATLANTA, August 18, 2026 – Acuity Brands Lighting (ABL) announced today that six lighting and controls solutions were selected for the 2026 Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Progress Report, which showcases the year's most significant advancements in the art and science of lighting. Selections were made by an impartial committee that evaluated submissions based on uniqueness, innovation, and significance to the lighting industry.
2026 IES Progress Report inclusions: Eureka® River Luminaire, IVO™ Adjustable Downlights by Gotham®, Hydrel® Ridge Linear Floodlight, Beyond LED High Bay and EAX LED Area Luminaire Family by Lithonia Lighting®, and SensorSwitch™ TLS Twist-to-Lock Sensor.
This year’s report was released at the IES Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado. All winning entries will also be included in the November 2026 issue of LD+A Magazine.
