Grand Opening of Research & Development Center in New Haven: Acuity Brands Holding Grand Opening Ceremonies on January 9, 2019; Center Features Development of New Technologies for Advanced Lighting Controls, IoT, Energy Savings
NEW HAVEN, CT – (December 6, 2018) -- Acuity Brands, Inc. (NYSE: AYI) will be holding grand opening ceremonies of its New Haven Facility at 10 am on January 9, 2019. The Center houses cutting-edge technical development and research involving lighting and building controls and Internet of Things connectivity aimed at helping customers achieve greater energy savings and comprehensive building systems integration.
The event will be hosted by members of the Acuity Brands leadership team: Laurent Vernerey, Executive Vice President; Trevor Palmer, SVP of Digital Lighting Networks; and Dan Goldblatt, SVP of Human Resources. Guests are invited to join us for a tour of the facility and remarks by the leadership team and visiting city and state dignitaries, followed by a catered luncheon.
