If there’s one thing you need to know about Mike, it’s this—he enjoys helping people. Helping others was engrained within him at a young age. He grew up as the youngest of three from a family of civil servants. At the age of 18, he wanted to break the mold and became the first of his family to attend college. His experience of a Jesuit education at Lemoyne College and the Madden College of Business taught him three lessons: 1) Question everything 2) Take multiple vantage points into consideration 3) Focus on the service of others.
Post-graduation, he followed in the footsteps of his family by landing a position in Law Enforcement. His learnings and experience transferred well with what he learned while at Lemoyne College. A few years later, Mike knew he wanted to channel his passion of helping people with better work-life balance.
The following years was a rainbow of a journey in the semi-conductor and LED worlds in sales management positions. His people and critical thinking skills enabled him to add value to his customers and ensure project and business success. His effort and dedication also proved valuable when it was time for him to make his next career move.
Since joining Acuity Brands in 2015, Mike is consistently an invaluable member to the team—and is one of the driving forces behind eldoLED’s growth in the North American OEM Market. He currently serves as our Senior Director for Channel Development for North America—sharing the value of eldoLED across all channels with Specifiers, OEMs and Lighting Industry Partners.
He’s fueled by one of our signature eldoLED brand principles—lighting makes people’s lives better. Mike continues to channel this brand message daily as he helps our customers create their lighting solutions with quality and high-performance LED drivers and components.

Besides his plot twist beginning in law enforcement, Mike is a proud father of three grown children (19+) and has an MBA.
