Atrius State of Energy Management Report: Visibility, Transparency, and Awareness are This Year’s Watchwords

January 31, 2022 Neil Egan

Environmental Leader, which provides news, best practices, and research to guide energy and sustainability policy, recently published a detailed synopsis of the annual Atrius® State of Energy Management survey report, based on a survey of more than 600 energy management professionals across six industries. In partnership with Smart Energy Decisions, this is the third year Atrius has conducted this extensive survey, designed to better understand how organizations are addressing, adapting, and meeting their goals toward meeting corporate sustainability goals.

The study found that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles are increasingly guiding energy managers, but attaining these goals requires more resources and commitment at every level. A successful ESG story is its own best advocate, fostering collaboration and innovation from all stakeholders. With automation and visualization technologies, energy managers can bring together many diverse data streams to show everyone how green their behavior is. Anyone charged with the responsibility for an organization’s energy management or who determines resources to support corporate sustainability goals will find compelling data in this report.
