Save on Energy Costs with Custom Time Delay Settings on an nLight Occupancy Sensor – Acuity Brands

This video will walk through the steps for changing the time to light function for an occupancy sensor. The time to light function identifies the length of time a sensor will keep the lights on after it last detects occupancy. Controlling when a light automatically turns off is a very important feature that can save energy costs. Consider the example of school lighting, where lighting in classrooms must be monitored because students and teachers may not use the rooms for the entire day. With an occupancy sensor, the classroom lights are turned on only when needed. This feature applies to buildings with industrial lighting and commercial lighting fixtures, where people are in and out of rooms throughout the day. This feature is also convenient because instead of having to manually shut off lights within their network, businesses can now rely on a remote controlled system that automates this function.
