The Balance of Lighting Design and Technologies on Mega Projects, Michigan Central Station
A discussion looking at the 2018-2024 renovation of the Historic Detroit Train Station: Explore how the Lighting Designer’s plan to transform this space into an event space while maintaining historic lighting status, pushed technologies to adapt in a way that had never been done before. Join us for an in-depth conversation about how at the onset of the project, the Lighting Designer’s requirements were not able to be accomplished using existing technologies. How the Integration team worked directly with manufacturers to bring this vision to life.
Speaker(s): Jon Weaver, Abbey Kojima, Jeff James
Date: March 6th 2:15-3:15
Location: B232- LGT, Columbus Convention Center
