HORYZON-C Color Display from Distech Controls Allows Users to View and Access All Comfort Parameters Within a Space
ATLANTA – January 15, 2018 – Distech Controls, an Acuity Brands company, introduces HORYZON-C, an IP-based capacitive and multi-touch color display that allows users to quickly manage an HVAC system’s operating parameters. These parameters include monitoring values, equipment and system status, as well as view active system alarms to perform diagnostics and take corrective actions such as overriding a sensor, pump or fan, or changing a setpoint.
Distech Controls will be showcasing HORYZON-C during the AHR Expo, January 21-24, 2018, in Chicago at McCormick Place – South Hall (Booth #3900). This display will be a key part of Distech Controls’ exhibit this year featuring products for unifying HVAC and lighting systems.
With HORYZON-C, building owners and facility managers can create a fully customized user experience with ENVYSION, a web-based graphic design and visualization interface. Or, users can leverage a preloaded visual interface generated by ECLYPSE and EC-Net systems for simplified commissioning, operations and troubleshooting, or for time-sensitive projects.
The HORYZON-C display easily plugs in and an intuitive setup assistant allows for a quick setup, while several productivity-enhancing tools help to increase installation and commissioning efficiency by more than 25%. Smoothly navigate on-screen functions using the slightest touch on HTML5 webpages and seamlessly zoom-in and zoom-out for optimum viewing.
In addition, the HORYZON-C versatile alarm management allows users to configure optional acoustic or visual triggers for instant notification of alarms. This allows on-site managers to take corrective actions faster, while the integrated buzzer can eliminate the need for additional devices.
