(NYSE: AYI) announced today 18 architectural lighting luminaires representing the company’s A-Light™, Eureka®, Gotham®, Hydrel®, IOTA®, Juno®, Luminaire LED™, Luminis®, MARK Architectural Lighting™, and Peerless® brands were selected as 2022 Product Innovation Award (PIA) winners by Architectural SSL magazine. The PIAs recognize innovative LED and solid-state luminaires and fixtures on the market, while also spotlighting the players behind the components that make up these light sources.
PIA winners include:
A-Light: Absorb I Suspended Luminaire is an acoustic luminaire that delivers form, style, and sound absorption to an environment. Made for areas with hard surfaces, tall windows, and high ceilings.
Relay Suspended Luminaire features curved and softened design elements, allowing users to configure diverse geometric patterns for a continuously lit shape.
Eureka: Billie is a large-scale architectural luminaire with a distinctive hollow center. The internal geometry of the luminaire, including the top radius, is optimized to improve the light spread inside the shape. And a return around the bottom edge acts as a reflector, casting shadow-free light evenly onto the curved interior surface.
Berri is a family of fixtures based on a combination of tubes and luminous spheres. Both unique and endless, the possible configurations can suit a wide range of functional and decorative applications.
Caldera is a sleek and narrow profile luminaire with a large ring shape to harmonize gracefully with its surroundings, while its sharper and refined silhouette adds an elegant aesthetic touch to any space.
Henri is a timeless, elegant pendant that evokes a playful yet modern feel. While its soft lines provide a soothing presence to any space, the sharp corners help outline its form and allow it to create a bold design statement.
Gotham: EVO® 6" Downlight and Cylinders with Care222® Technology feature a patented excimer lamp and patent-pending dosing electronics (“module”) that can provide a measured dosage of filtered 222nm far-UVC and are designed to help occupants feel safer in high-traffic areas such as classrooms, offices, waiting rooms, restaurants, and bathrooms without compromising visually comfortable lighting.
Hydrel: SAF1 Static White Floodlight accentuates unique patterns, facades, and landmarks, harmonizing exterior spaces according to architectural lighting design needs. The compact luminaire offers 6° to 70° high-output distribution, up to 1500 delivered lumens and superior water ingress protection.
SAF28 Static White Floodlight delivers up to 18,000 lumens and offers a wide range of light distribution, including a narrow 6° spotlight. The IP68-rated luminaire provides many options, including accessories and optics for spotlighting, wall-washing and floodlighting applications.
IOTA: ILB CP10 HE AELR Wireless Emergency Driver with Bluetooth® technology simplifies Life Safety compliance by allowing users to wirelessly connect and view emergency driver self-testing records with a mobile device.
Juno Trac: T286L Flat Back Cylinder LED Trac Head is designed with a unique, patented, precision optical system which produces perfectly uniform spot, narrow flood or flood beam distributions. The 43W T286L Series can deliver up to 3900 lumens, utilizing less than 1/3 of the energy of halogen equivalents and having a rated life of 50,000-hours. It is compatible with a variety of light control accessories and is proudly assembled in the USA.
Luminaire LED: VCM8 Wide Corner Mount Luminaire features a highly durable, marine-grade finish that withstands a 4,000-hour salt spray test and an optional behind-the-lens occupancy sensor. Complete with a lifetime warranty against vandalism and an IK10 rating.
Luminis: Bellevue includes columns, bollards, and wall-mount luminaires giving designers the latitude to bring lighting performance to where it is needed while unifying a project’s overall look.
Hollowcore features a unique circular LED light engine, advanced optics and lens, producing all the output expected from a high bay while delivering light exactly where needed.
