A High Ambient rating means the fixture is designed to operate safely and effectively in environments with high surrounding temperatures, typically 40 degrees Celsius to 65 degrees Celsius higher.

IC Rated 

An IC rating means the fixture is insulation contact rated - it is safe to install in direct contact with insulation without the risk of overheating or fire.

Cold Environment

A Cold Environment rating means the fixture is designed to operate reliably in low temperatures without performance degradation, typically temperatures down to -25°F (-31.7°C) or even -40°F (-40°C).

NSF P442 

An NSF P442 rating means the luminaire is designed for food processing and sanitation environments, meeting strict standards for cleanability, chemical resistance, and durability.

ISO CLEANROOM (ISO 3, ISO 5) 

An ISO Cleanroom rating of ISO 3 or ISO 5 means the product is engineered for ultra-clean environments, meeting strict contamination control standards. It releases very few particles to help maintain pure air and protect delicate processes.

A USP 797/800 rating means the product is built for clean, safe handling of sterile and hazardous drugs. Its sealed, easy-to-clean design helps maintain air purity and prevent contamination in healthcare settings.

IP65 

An IP65 rating means the product is designed for outdoor use in damp or wet locations, offering complete protection against dust and resistance to water from all directions.

IP66 

An IP66 rating means products are suitable for harsher outdoor locations or washdown zones. They are dust tight and protected against water from all directions. 

IP67 

An IP67 rating means products are used in areas prone to flooding or heavy water exposure. They are dust tight and can be immersed in water for up to a minute and a half. 

Industrial: 

IP69K 

An IP69K rating means products are protected against high-pressure and high-temperature water jets. They are ideal for sanitation-heavy environments.

Nema Type - 4X 

A NEMA Type-4X rating means products are suitable for outdoor locations. They are designed to protect against windblown dust and rain, splashing water, hose-directed water, and corrosion. 

Damp Location 

A Damp Location rating means products are designed to operate safely in environments where moisture is present. 

Wet Location 

A Wet Location rating means the fixture is certified to be safely installed in areas where it will be directly exposed to water.

An ENERGY STAR rating means a lighting product has been certified by the U.S. EPA for meeting strict standards in energy efficiency, light output, and durability. It undergoes testing for efficacy, longevity, and reliability, ensuring high performance and environmental benefits. 

Title 20 

A Title 20 rating means a lighting product meets California’s energy efficiency, performance, and labeling standards required by the California Energy Commission. It ensures the product can be legally sold in the state and helps reduce energy use and environmental impact. 

Title 24 

A Title 24 rating means a lighting system complies with California’s building energy efficiency standards, which cover lighting power limits, efficacy, and control features like occupancy sensors and daylight harvesting.
