Visual Controls 2020 has some important changes all users should review.
New Wire Connections
Visual Controls 2020 includes new wire types. An ethernet wire type has been added to distinguish between nLight CAT5 cable from CAT5 cable that is used for general networking. As a result of this change, older versions of the software will not be able to open files saved in Visual Controls 2020.
Install Location
Visual Controls 2020 installs to a new folder location. This will allow older versions of Visual Controls to be installed side by side with Visual Controls 2020. You will be prompted to migrate your settings when you first launch Visual Controls 2020 to allow you to maintain your favorites and templates. Please uninstall older version of Visual Controls after you install Visual Controls 2020.
