It’s so impressive to hear our experts speak so confidently and convincingly about our products’ capabilities, innovations and value. Their intelligence and passion for lighting really shines.
This year, there was a special buzz at the booth as we were waiting for the big reveal of our newest brand: Atrius™, which encompasses our growing portfolio of Internet of Things (IoT) business solutions and the Atrius software platform.
Greg Carter, our Vice President and General Manager of Atrius addressed a crowd of several hundred that completely packed the booth to overflow, making a strong case for the idea that LED lighting is the best and least expensive infrastructure for delivering a sensory network that feeds IoT platforms to connect systems, spaces and people. He went on to demonstrate that Acuity Brands has moved well beyond the ‘proof of concept’ stage to deploying full-scale IoT capabilities and solutions.
