A-Light Luminaire Category Winner for 2025 EC&M Product of the Year

Oceanside, CA, April 2, 2025 – A-Light (www.alights.com), an established best-in-class manufacturer of specification-grade interior lighting solutions, is pleased to announce its Mira luminaire has been recognized as a 2025 EC&M Product of the Year category winner. 

The EC&M Product of the Year competition was established in 2001 to honor excellence in new product development in the electrical industry. This prestigious awards program showcases the most innovative products of the past year and recognizes the talent and commitment of the people involved in development – from concept through sales and marketing. Product entries are judged by a panel of electrical experts, including engineers, contractors, and plant/facility personnel. EC&M is proud to bestow these awards on inventive products that help electrical professionals do their jobs more efficiently and effectively. Mira was recognized in the Luminaires (Surface Mount/Suspended) category.

Mira takes a fresh approach to providing functional, full-room illumination. It provides an asymmetric distribution that directs an even illumination towards ceiling and walls, minimizing hotspots and shadows. The luminaires are designed to use both ceiling and wall surfaces to reflect sufficient light into a space to functionally illuminate desks and floors indirectly. Designers can specify wall throw, ceiling throw, or a combination of both in the same run to deliver the right amount of light on a surface. A combined wall and ceiling wash offers up to 2302 delivered lumens per foot.
