AutoConnect Now Available for BAA
The AEL® AutoConnect™ with the BAA option now qualifies as a domestic end product under the Buy American Act as implemented in the FAR and DFARS. Product with the BAA option also qualifies as manufactured in the United States under DOT Buy America regulations.
The Buy American Act (BAA) mandates that the U.S. government prioritize purchasing domestic goods and materials for public projects to bolster American industries and jobs. Under this legislation, federal procurement contracts often require products to be manufactured or substantially transformed within the United States to qualify as American-made. The aim is to ensure that taxpayer money supports domestic businesses and promotes economic growth.
