Given today’s technology cost curves and, particularly, the move from analog to digital architectures within the built environment, the ability for a building owner, or even a tenant, to install a submeter has never been more affordable. As is the case with converting traditional lighting to LED lighting, upfront costs continue to drop and are paid back in energy savings over increasingly shorter timeframes.
