Steel-Coating Factory LED Upgrade Case Study

Steelscape, the Washington based steel-coating company, is a national supplier of metallic-coated and pre-painted steel. Product produced by Steelscape are used for applications such as architectural roofing and metal buildings. The upgraded manufacturing lighting to LED, along with the networked controls system has sections of the building running on half the power used prior to the upgrade. Night-time energy savings are at about 80 percent. In addition, an annual $10,000 spend on preventive lighting maintenance was eliminated with the upgrade.
