TVA Magnolia Power Plant Case Study

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Magnolia Plant is a natural gas generating plant located in Mississippi. The Magnolia plant is TVA’s largest combined-circle plant operating on 374 acres with a nominal plant capacity of 920 MW. In its first year after installation, the LED system saved the facility about $60,000 in energy usage and maintenance work. Additionally, the increased safety factor increased the overall benefit of the project.
